Repost this on the Politics thread and I'll respondBlue-collar Toryism vs Metropolitan middle class Liberals.
Simple choice in this GE.
Want Brexit, vote Tory.
Want Revoke, vote Libdem.
Want continued chaos, vote Labour.
Yes, yes and more yes. Where do we start?MEMO TO THE JINXSTER
Are you ready for our customary election wager ?
Yes I had my doubts and said that if people don't like the idea it's ok. I gave my reasons, but if you don't agree, that's fine, Art.Sorry, but I think this thread is a very bad idea. The last GE thread morphed into a general politics one and it will be impossible to decide which is "general politics" and which is "general election" whether you're reading or posting.
I don't think two threads are sustainable. Like Brexit, I can't see any positives in this twin track approach
Pizzas?I was due to be anyway, but I'm out delivering tonight in the locality.
The election campaign began in earnest some time ago, if truth be told.
Gotta do what we can before the election period "proper" starts and we're bound by electoral law...!Pizzas?
Are you allowed to deliver pamphlets (?) now? Don't you have to wait until the Lords approve?Gotta do what we can before the election period "proper" starts and we're bound by electoral law...!
The fliers I'm delivering aren't official election material, and thus are not bound by electoral law. The other parties have also been very busy in our area of late. Are you allowed to deliver pamphlets (?) now? Don't you have to wait until the Lords approve?
Labour, you mean? The fliers I'm delivering aren't official election material, and thus are not bound by electoral law. The other parties have also been very busy in our area of late.
Anyway, a quick check reveals both our borough's MPs abstained from the vote on the election. This could be used as a bit of "running scared" ammo.
