I wouldn’t want Sam to leave this month but if our hand was forced (and there isn’t a lower release clause in his contract) I’d also say £1.5m, with a 20% sell on and BCFC’s out of favour (and in the summer out of contract) Scottish international striker Chris Martin on loan for 6 months with them paying all his wages.
I know Martin is 34 but Stanno could do his running and Jevani and Joe White can set him up.
What could go wrong?
