Good news SB - a bit of a ding dong affair but it finished 4:2 to the Albion.
Now beginning to look as if two things need to happen Brentford can’t really afford to drop any points and West Brom need to lose form.

Brentford for the playoffs but then to get promoted they have to break the apparent hoodoo which has affected all teams whose main strip is red and white in that everyone one of them since the League playoff finals have been held at the new Wembley have fallen at the last hurdle.

WBA look like they’re going to just get it over the line...the Bees will certainly go into the playoffs with some momentum if it turns out that way...I don’t think none of the others would fancy playing them that’s for sure...red and white stripes or not.

Agree 100% but some things are inexplainable and this hoodoo is one. Still think best outcome for us would be for Ollie to play a staring role in getting Brentford to the playoff final having a good game in the final but being on the losing side.

Brentford without the hoped for PL millions would have to continue their policy of selling players whom they have developed and would have to give careful consideration to any serious offers which might come in for Ollie. Ollie himself is not lacking in ambition so if as part of the deal he was offered PL money he would be on his way.

It feels like there has been more attention paid to Benrahma since the resumption. Figures of 30mn for him touted.
Surely Brentford wouldn't want to lose both him and Watkins next season?

Just our luck for Brentford to keep building their forward line around Ollie. His mates keep going for twenty to thirty million , he spends the rest of his career there. Bit like Coppinger did at Doncaster.
So , being selfish ,I want them to lose out on promotion , him to strike a final golden patch for the run in and it all to come together nicely and him transferred for say twenty five million. 4.5 million in our coffers would set us up nicely in these hard times.

Kane Wilson has signed for Forest Green! Really didn’t expect that.
