Robbie Simpson's Chelmsford lose at home to Barnet so we wont be playing them in Round 3
Agree. Also extremely happy to see him doing well, but it is a totally different level. He's doing well, but not exactly setting the league alight with his numbers, for instance Tyler Harvey has 18 at top of the scoring charts, but who knows if he can get a couple more hattricks he might be up there.I think there needs to be a reality check on how low a level this is before getting too carried away. Im pleased he is rebuilding his reputation but the chance of him being a football league player again is slim
Apart from Minhas who has 2 more league goals than Seymour the other players above him in the top scorers list all play for promotion chasing teams whereas Seymour is playing for a team who only recently climbed off the foot of the table.Agree. Maybe if Ben was a couple years younger his current form might convince a national league side to take a punt, but I think he is some way off convincing a League side to take a look at him yet.
proper retirement home for ex greciansLewis Page signs for Mansfield Town on an initial one month contract.
as he hasnt played for some time cant think he will be anywhere near fit for agesWouldnt have minded a fit Lewis page signing for us for a month. Position we need cover in IMO.
When we offered him an extended contract he preferred to ply his trade elsewhere, and let's be honest, he hasn't exactly been a "shining beacon" of fitness in the subsequent intervening years.Wouldnt have minded a fit Lewis page signing for us for a month. Position we need cover in IMO.
