Bumped into City's only (so far) Wembley winning goal scorer, Sir Rob Edwards, at the Principality Stadium, Cardiff. Little was a bit surprised that I was rendered mute at the feet of the King, whilst everyone else was waiting for Ed Sheeran.

Forest manager Steve Cooper was in charge at Swansea when Matt Grimes made his big breakthrough. Indeed Cooper was such a fan of Grimes that when the former City man looked set to sign for Fulham a couple of years back he quite the Welsh club. Can't be beyond the realms of possibility that Cooper looks to take Grimes to the City Ground. #youhearditherefirst

Are you sure about the first bit Egg? I thought Grimes had established himself before then. I would suggest Paul Clement is probably more the man you're after for substantially progressing Grimehino's Swansea career. I stand to be corrected but was it not Clement who made him captain. Time matches on so quick these days, I might have got my time lines wrong. You might be right about the second part though, who knows.

Resurrected his Swans career under Graham Potter in 2018-19; was made captain by Cooper at the start of the following season.
I'd have thought Clement's spell as Swansea manager would have coincided with the period after Gary Monk's departure when Grimes didn't get much of a look-in.

Do you want me to point out the obvious to your out of date list Michael?
