I have just watched the latest 'Sunderland 'til I die' fly on the wall documentary. They paid a record league 1 fee for Will Grigg on the eleventh hour of deadline day.
I think it's fair to say that if they had got their business done early (like Preston did at the time), Stockley would have been an excellent acquisition for them.
