Not read the thread yet. In the Egypt Mill courtyard with a cold one waiting for the food. That was all very comfortable weren't it.

Not a player who scored a hat trick and provided the assist for the other? You’re mental.

Great result my draw was wrong. But have to say both Sweeney and Hartridge looked different class. Maybe England should have a chat with MT on how to play a back 3. Superb City.

Great performance and result. Brown obviously man of the match. Collins second to that for me.

As soon as City took the lead, almost game over and the fans could relax in the sun. Not many City games are so one sided! Regardless of their injury situation, FGR were poor and have to be favourites, even at this early stage of the season, for a relegation spot.

MT must be very pleased.

Lovely afternoon basking in the sun, and to take nothing away from our lads, the opposition was very, very poor, no belief whatsoever. Pre-match had a gander at their forum and the vast majority predicted a thumping loss, so glad they called it right.

As the old saying goes, we can only beat what’s put in front of us, and that we did. Convincingly. Well done, City !

Its a great read post match, People were understandably as pessimistic as I was , with an occasional optimist hoping for a 0-0 draw!
