Been quite a few shake ups at the top of the tables around Europe, especially since the start of the pandemic.

So was hoping this could be a recurring thread for all underdog/shift in power stories around the footballing world

Premier League - Liverpool's first title since 1989-90 season
Serie A - Inter Milan stop Juventus' 10 in a row - Juventus
Scottish Premier League - Rangers stop Celtic's 10 in a row
Welsh Premier League - Connah's Quay break The New Saints title streak (8) with back to back titles now
Portugese Super Liga - Sporting Lisbon first title since 2001/02
Turkish Süper Lig - Beşiktaş winning the league again, last title 2016/17, closing in on 2nd place in Turkey's all time league titles

Serie A - Juventus could also be without Champions League for the first time since the 2011/12 season
Ligue 1 - Lille could/should be beating PSG to a title, their first since 2010/11 and 4th in total.
LA Liga - Atletico Madrid could/should be beating the El Classico teams to a title this season.

Club Bruges won the Belgian league. They were very nearly overtaken by Genk, who were ten points behind at the end of the regular season, but after a four team playoff finished on the same points and with a better goal difference but lost out because of their inferior regular season tally. Complicated eh.
Anderlecht were nowhere.

Could Girona win La Liga? Real Madrid seem to win a lot of games in 90+

Xabi Alonsos Leverkusen seem to be a genuine threat for Harry Kanes quest for silverware

Luton with a big win last night Vs Brighton, would love them to stay up.

Girona won't win LL but will get CL. Madrid are too rich and I think do have power and manipulation over the officials.

Leverkeusen will win the Bundesliga and Alonso will then struggle at Liverpool.

Luton will stay up purely because of the manager.

We will make a charge for the play offs.

Girona are one of the dozen or so football clubs owned by the (Manchester) City Group.
So although they’re doing impressively well this season they have got significant backing I’d imagine.
