Some comments on the TV thread have led me to think of any cases where the remake is better than the original. I can think of plenty of bad remakes but am struggling with better ones.

Any suggestions please.

I only watched the original after the remake and despite the legendary cast, I prefer the remake of Oceans Eleven. Very much enjoyed some earlier incarnations but new Sherlock is better for me.

Ps Ali, has a similar thread been done on cover versions? If not why? 🙂

I actually enjoyed it but think it was let down by the ending.Did like the Cylon number six though!

I think one may have been done on that ......or it could just be comments on the Music Quiz thread.
