Do you remember Ivan Mauger riding his Speedway bike around SJP with The British Title Trophy that the Falcons has picked up the previous month ?

I can’t remember if it was his track bike or the special gold plated one that he brought out on special occasions(I saw it at the County Ground once)

Still miss the Falcons . Altogether now "one, three, five, seven...".

Read somewhere that Ivan's entire collection of Speedway Bikes are being put up for Auction in the UK later this year, so guess that will be among them. One extra special one ( I can't remember which,) has a reserve of £18k.

Thanks for the correction Isca ! A sobering thought that it will be fifteen years in November since Ivan rode the ceremonial last lap ever at the County Ground !
