A Strange Town.
Frustration was a regular board game in my childhood.

Still play that one now with my kids. They love that game. Definite knack to getting the dice to do what you want depending on how hard you hit the ‘poppy dice thing’.

Backgammon is the king of board games and I could play all day. I would be quite happy to walk into your boring chess matches, throw the boards around and scatter your ornamental pieces willy nilly across the room knowing full well that the chess nerds wouldn't complain.

Monopoly, Game of Life and Wembley.
Wembley was brilliant. Wish I knew what happened to my set.

Escape from Colditz also fab - always took it into school for last day entertainment.

Also Kingmaker, btu that was soooooo complicated I was never sure we were playing it right.

I remember playing that and being confused by the couple on the box

Do not recall that one at all.

I think the most complicated one I ever played was Battle of the Bulge: Bastogne. Or a name similar to that. Took about 3 hours to set up.
