fair enuf cant alter your take. i know our defence has had a good run until recently , but realistically whats been playing hasnt imo, really had any 'decent' competition, who do you reckon would have been able to step up and take over? now troy has forced himself onto the bench i reckon they'll know that there's someone ready to step in if they dont deliver, so alls good ish.
Got to admire your undying faith in Troy, I'd given up on him when we signed him (although I did predict he'd only play 6 full games for us, a prediction which looks wildly optimistic now).
So that's Simpson and Henville signed up for next season then, league 1 here we come!

I don't think you are sorry; I think you enjoy being pedantic, as I do :)

Nice - even if unconsciously done - that the best parallels you can find for our youth setup are Man U and Saints! Of course we can't rely on continuing to produce young talent, but it is a structural part of our business model and should, with continued care and investment, form a virtuous spiral. Success on the field is clearly important and desirable, but I would suggest survival is rather more so!
The English language is a beautiful thing, so I just like to help preserve it.
What I meant about MU and Southampton etc is even they cannot keep producing talented youngsters, so sooner or later our production rate may dry up, too. But have to say the academy is doing really well.
Just dreaming of a time when we can be a regular Div 1 top 10 team playing good football in front of good crowds. Not easy to achieve but not impossible.

So thats about it then? Tisdale walks out smiling to himself, and drives off whistling to Chippenham.
