The first FA cup game I can remember is 1960 against Luton. Lost 2 -1 with a crowd of over 20,000. We had two of the best wingers I've ever seen at the park in Gordon Dale and Nelson Stiffle. Dale was injured early on by a terrible tackle by Billy Bingham who was boo'd through the whole game and every time he came to the park afterwards.
