Great selection of team names there. I think that West Allotment Celtic takes "the biscuit", although it is heartening to see the number of colliery teams still playing on despite the closure of their pits.

Game 38 of local interest here. Clee have already won 2 games to get to this round but away at Hednesford will be a step up for them.

Just another 3 wins and they could draw us in the final qualifying round! :)

Exmouth away to Truro in the next round.
Tough old draw, but who knows?
Bring em back for a replay and it could be the biggest game at Southern Road since that Fleetwood Town* game way back in the 80s

PS: Although a true Grecian for more than half a century, as someone born and raised at the mouth of our river I'm not ashamed to still admit a bit of fondness for The 'Muff.

*BTW, whatever happened to them?

Truro lost away at Hungerford, and Tiverton lost at home to Sholing yesterday in the latest qualifying round. Weston-Super-Mare won their match against Taunton 5-1!

Another excellent win for Cleethorpes yesterday beating National League North team Alfreton 1-0.

Now only one win away from setting up a possible tie against us!

Cleethorpes draw away to Curzon Ashton who are currently 3rd in The National League North, so another big test for them. Win that one and it could set up a Grimsby v Cleethorpes tie!

Now now Leslie.
As an occasional follower* of the Grecians you should know better than to mention "Cousin Ashley" on Exeweb.

Whatever next...Warrington Town? Or, even worse, Alvechurch or Bognor Regis???

Shame on you.

Mind you, next home game is against Walsall (where, if I recall correctly, we first met at the Bes(forgotten) Stadium). Can we expect you at the Well Tavern...promise the game WON'T be called off because of a strip of snow on one touchline this time!)
