Early signs of a bit of Ferrari dominance this year until Mercedes sort these porpoising issues out…Perez on pole for Red Bull in Jeddah tomorrow…but would favour Leclerc for the race though as it appears that Ferrari have the better race car.

Looks like a two way battle between Ferrari and Red Bull this season. It will be interesting to see how quickly Ferrari decide to tell Sainz to play second fiddle to Leclerc. Carlos will have to win some battles quickly to avoid this happening. It will also be interesting to see how Verstappen and Leclerc rub up against each other as the season goes on if they do emerge as the two horse race. They were quite polite with each other in that scrap in Bahrain although I doubt Max liked being outwitted by Charles and then having Charles explain it to everyone.

Mercedes might have more than the porpoising to sort out looking at the (non) performance of the of Merc powered teams. They were already talking about having to look at what they can do with the PU. You would expect them to crack it at some point and start challenging at the front before long but it might be too late for a championship challenge.

Nice to see KMag back 👍

A dominant weekend for Charles Leclerc. Incredible pace in that Ferrari and good on the tyres, which RB certainly struggled with, all whilst bouncing down the straights like a kangaroo. The RB does look a missile in a straight line though and appears to be able to ride lower than anyone without the porpoising. All which must make them worried about the pace of the Ferrari. I hear weight might be an issue, and the cost cap which means they have to be selective where they develop. That's before the unreliability kicks in as well.

The Mercs seem to still be in limbo land in race trim if not in qualifying but are still a long way off the front. George took advantage of a kind safety car period as well as Max DNF to bag a podium. Good to see the McLaren's back up there.

A lost weekend for Fernando. He looked so quick in qualifying before the hydraulics let go and the race just didn't fall right for him either with the safety cars before he burned through the mediums in traffic. Maybe the unlikely strategy of Williams and Alex Albon was the way for him to go. Unbelievable point for them waiting until the last lap to pit!

Whilst a quieter race up front this weekend, still some really good racing in midfield helped by the Lance Stroll train 🙂.

Leclerc coming across much more cooler and less flustered than his title rivals Verstappen and Hamilton, it’ll be interesting to see what happens now we are coming back to Europe.

It's still early in the championship and now Max has won one he has calmed it down a bit racing with Charles although it has still been spectacular. He has raced Charles all his life practically so doesn't feel (yet) he needs to prove something with him like he did with Lewis. The FIA have also laid down what is on and what isn't this season more firmly than last year.

Having said that, there is still a long way to go and if it is Max v Charles at the pointy end of the season with the title on the line, elbows might well be employed.

Makes me think of "'Allo 'Allo".

Looked like the Mercs had taken a step forward yesterday but free practice means nothing when it comes to quali and the race. Still the Fez's v Bulls.
