Unexplained rear wing problem for Red Bull and Verstappen, but take nothing away from Valtteri he deserved his pole! - Mexico
If Verstappen can finish in front of Hamilton next weekend in Brazil where quite often the weather comes into play it should be pretty much job done for Max…as I can’t see the other three races in in the Middle East being that eventful. In isolation the race was a bit of a damp squib but at this point of the season it doesn't really matter as it's all pretty engrossing. It feels as though Max has got to a position now where it would require a Devon Loch-style capitulation to snatch the Championship away. It wouldn't have felt such a foregone conclusion back in the days when reliability was so much more of a variable.
Assuming Mercedes stayed true to their decision at the start of the season to halt development of this car ahead of the changes coming in next year it's testament to both team and Hamilton that they've stayed competitive. You have to feel this is a must win for Red Bull and Verstappen given the likely head-start Mercedes will have next year coupled with the departure of Honda.
79% full throttle apparently. Only Monza will be quicker.Big weekend in the World Championship coming up, apparently this street circuit in Saudi Arabia is very fast and dusty
Should suit the Mercedes.79% full throttle apparently. Only Monza will be quicker.
You would think so. The Brazil engine is back in Lewis' car so it will be interesting to see what Horner comes up with if the Merc's are super quick seeing as he thought the rear wing issue was solved last time out with the new test.Should suit the Mercedes.
Looks like a super fast version of Singapore.....gotta feeling it won’t be boring whatever happens.Cannot say I like this track
