Hulkenberg gets to race again. Hopefully he gets a few laps on Sunday 😉

Got called "Checo" by his race engineer on the radio in FP1 😄.

Embarrassing qualifying session for Stroll with Hulkenberg taking third place on the grid...Lando will probably be disappointed with tenth although he did out qualify his team mate...good to see Danny Ric at the sharp end of the grid again...I wouldn’t look any further than Hamilton for the race though despite being only second on the grid.

It will depend on the start and tyre management as Mercedes don't go for alternative strategies between the two when racing each other and their pace is quite similar. It will be interesting to see what Verstappen is up to on the hards to start with. Vettel must wish the season was over already, so far behind Leclerc.

The midfield is so tight, but it would be great to see the Hulk get a podium at last.

Mercedes undone by the heat and softer compound tyres than last week. Great drive by Verstappen who had the Mercs covered I think whatever they did today. Albon also recovering on good tyre management showing Red Bull are good in these conditions. He really does need to qualify better to assist Max more and beat Leclerc which he should be doing.

With more hot races coming up in Spain and Italy, Mercedes will have to work out a way of not shredding their tyres. Possibly a case of the downforce they generate biting them back in these conditions.

Another great drive by Leclerc to pull of a one stop for fourth. Vettel again spinning and coming nowhere as he got caught up in midfield battles. He didn't sound happy on the radio to be put into traffic but he caused his own problems by qualifying poorly and spinning.

Looking forward to the reason why Racing Point pitted the Hulk late on allowing Stroll to go ahead. Apart from that the midfield were quite static apart from Albon charging through.

Stop Press. Hulkenberg had significant vibrations and doubted he would finish so let them off!

Ferrari stuff up second driver shock 🤔. Seb has benefited from this before. It was weird though putting him on the mediums with so long to go in the race. They did have to run a shorter first stint than they would have liked though because of Seb spinning on the first lap and scrubbing his hard tyres and putting him out of position.

You do get these situations in Motorsports of a long drawn out divorce where you are still living together and Seb has never responded well to competition in the same team whether it was Danny Ric at Red Bull or Leclerc.

If Jaguar were to race, then their car would be a thing of beauty!
