The suspense is killing me, did I make the playoffs?
You certainly overtook me on the final straight :)

I think more correctly you fell back.

Apologies for any salt rubbing into the woundage.

COMMENT

A very interesting last day with City letting Stroudy down after his stupendous late run. Mr CC would have topped the table if Mansfield had beaten the Vegans to land a prefect Lucky 63. That late goal cost him over £14,000.

The Bookie won £13,948.69 on the day and ended the season with a loss of £14,513.78 (subject to audit)

Congratulations to Mr Dozen on his win with such a large profit too. Thanks to all who joined in.

I have to say the thread came to life when Stroudy rocked up in the latter stages with those bold wagers.

A glorious exit Sir

As per Kurgan's Theme:

I have something to say: It's better to burn out than to fade away

There can be only one

Thanks Alistair! I've always been a fan of Beat The Bookie, it must take a fair bit of your time. Appreciate it.

On Stroudy's suggestion I am listening to a bit of Ludwig Van: "Ode To Joy in Polsloe"
