Drysdale and Huxtable as officials, what have we done to deserve this? :)

All we needed on top was a seven hour coach trip before the game and think we could completely right this one off.:censored:

The last game Drysdale reffed didn't end up too bad for us did it...

"Southend have scored three goals in their past 11 matches and their 24 goals from 41 games is the Football League’s lowest goals-for tally. The left-back Tom Clifford is joint-top scorer with three, and Nile Ranger, who re-signed in February after being released owing to “recurring disciplinary issues” in 2018, sustained a groin injury 12 minutes into his comeback. The 36-year-old Greg Halford, a right-back, has been leading the line"

Ha!
But will Phil Brown have a dramatic effect on Sarfend's fortunes?
I'm never gonna say this is the type of match we should win. Fatal to say that

Drysdale the head butting ref now banished to the wastelands of L2 reffing. No doubt part of the punishment. I need to reprimand Jason for spelling his name incorrectly. :)

I would remind posters that we scored 3 goals within the last few minutes against Yeovil which was a game he reffed. Hard to believe that was 4 years ago

I assume large pie orders have been placed to keep the North Devon Porker occupied.

All of that aside, the performance of a ref very rarely changes the result of a game. It is up to the players and the manager to deliver just as they did at Cambridge.

3 points please guys. No messing, no cringeworthy excuses.

The Bridge Inn….on a good day.
Depends which City turns up.
Could be 0-0 or 0-1 if the Barrow hoofball version is in evidence, 2-0 or 3-0 if the Cambridge version is on the pitch.
