I think we have a superior squad and should win but.... it's City at Wembley :(

Don't get the City Wembley jinx thing, it's almost as though Cambridge never happened!

Haha I don't think it's a jinx, its just 3 out of 4 play offs ended in losses so I associate it with failure.... Robs header being the exception rather than rule....

Thats a good one actually. Most painful Wembley moment?

1 Morecambes inevitable second on the counter after we looked comfortable in the fist half... celebrated by a tiny crowd
2 Hearing Blackpool score their second as I was being cuffed by the Met
3 Covs second just after half time, walking back up the steps from the toilet just saw it whiz in and their crowd go mental

But hey, always a good view

We've always scored a goal at Wembley, Phillips, Rob Edwards, Wheeler, Kyle Edwards, who will join this illustrious crew?

The pattern seems to be obvious scorer, not so obvious, obvious, not so obvious. So let's say Nicky Law then...and Bowman and Deano, let's break out of the #onegreciangoal habit 😉.

Hard to believe now but it was Deano who took the corner that Rob Edwards scored from. Perhaps, he should start practicing taking corners again.

The Wembley pitch is wider than most League Two pitches and it's 5m wider than ours. the grass quality favours players who like to run with the ball and helps a passing game more than pitches at our level. In previous play off finals we haven't had wide players the quality of Williams and Sparkes (Wheeler didn't really play as a winger in the final) and this could be our key to winning the game.
