It's the way that we have started games in the last six matches that has been the biggest surprise, because we have been so inconsistent. Again on Saturday we started slowly and they really bossed it. Once we had the nine minute break for the change of Referee, which gave Matt the chance to gee up the players, we were then the better team. They are going to come out firing because of the new manager bounce and if we don't match them from the off we'll be in trouble. We'll have to be at it from the start and really compete. If we do that I can see us sneaking a 1-0 win. As every one has said, they have become a bogey team to us which is something that we have to end on Saturday.

I think this will be a difficult game with the travel and the storm Holloway is whipping up but I still see a positive result on the horizon, not much in it, I’d say 1-1 or 2-1 to us

When Grimsby beat us at the park we were on a 10 match unbeaten run (this season), what is the length of our current unbeaten run?

They've got some new players in who will want to do well in front of the home fans, including a winger called Tilley who (according to Holliway) is very tricky.
On the other hand, they might lack an understanding.
I'm still going for 2-1 City but with a squeaky bum.

I think we'll lose this, Grimsby with their colourful new gaffer are having a bit of a revival and we're playing them at the wrong time.

We'll concede early and a second late on when chasing the game. Sorry.

All the hype around Holloway could actually work in our favour....not that we need it but it’s like there’s extra incentive to go and get a result in what seems like there’s going to be some kind of party atmosphere at Blundell Park tomorrow.
