Development Team

Another fantastic victory for the team this afternoon as they won at Brandninch 11-0
Goals this afternoon from Ebony Salomone, Tash Harvey, Yvie Miller, Lucy Gregory and 7 for Esme Kilburn Thompson
It makes you wonder what the score would have been with Chloe up front with Esme. Big game next week, home to Axminster. We owe them.

how many goals has Chloe scored so far this season Ian ?, and over how many games ?, from dipping into this thread it looks like a lot !
A definitive answer for you now, 10 in 6 in the League (where Lily and, after today's SEVEN) Esme are both a goal in front of her and a hattrick in the one County Cup game so far which makes her top scorer overall (Lily didn't score in that game and Esme only got one).

Game called off today for dubious reasons by Axminster, not the first time this season that has happened.

A bit late in the day I know but The Development Side are playing Axminster in the semi final of The Devon Supplementary Cup this afternoon. With Chloe out injured, Esme departed for the English Riveria and Katie slumming it on the bench for the first team this afternoon I wonder how hard or tight it is going to be this afternoon. That said Axminster apparently have their own issues with internal wrangling and managerial problems.

If they have made it they will play Westexe in the final who beat Activate from the West Division 2-0. City have already beaten Westexe this season (another game Chloe was injured for).

Seaton 0-6 City which keeps City top of a very, very congested table. I haven't seen any of the other scores yet but it would be useful if Westexe have turned over Budleigh as Budleigh have games in hand on City and are level on points at the top. City still have Budleigh, Axminster and Westexe still to play of the five still very much in with a shout, Crediton are the other side.

Further to the above Budleigh won 1-0 and Axminster only managed to put three past Bradninch. For those who even only have s passing interest, you'll understand the 'only'.

City 5-0 Axminster, good, solid performance. As a whole City look a better playing side than they did the last time I saw when Chlo got injured.

Big game on Sunday, first versus second with Budleigh the visitors to King George V. City need to win to realistically stand any chance of winning the league as Budleigh have two games in hand and they are currently level on points. A win obviously gives us a cushion for one of them but it would still need Westexe or Crediton to beat Budleigh (which they are capable of doing) to put the title in our hands. Oh!! Madam is back at last!!!!!. The physio is limiting her to 20 minutes almost certainly the last 20 to expose the tiring Budleigh biffas (Dear God!! They have some outhouses playing for them). Kick off 2pm at King George V.
