It probably has neither a bridge nor water 😅
We have both bridges and water I’ll have you know.
The lovely, tidal River Parrett runs from Dorset, through the centre of Bridgwater and into the sea 4 or 5 miles away near Burnham.
The nicest two central bridges over the Parrett are the Town Bridge (1883) and the now decommissioned Telescopic Bridge (1871) which is Grade II* listed.
We even have some docks just off the town centre, originally for commercial purposes but now used by boats for recreation and residential (houseboats).
Interesting place Bridgwater, especially if you’re into industrial history, which I’m not especially but there’s plenty of it here for those who are.
Apologies for going off thread, but I was provoked! 🙂

And there I was thinking it was all over

Not the Argyle result but the Moneyfields result, excellent news for the Women, there is a chance! Make a note of the date 5th February #thingshappening

Plus facing the scum again is always a good challenge, hopefully yhey can play it at the home of football again.
