Thought I’d mention this here rather than clog up the boards by starting a new thread.
Hopefully of interest to supporters of ECFC women’s team.
Bridgwater United WFC beat Argyle 3:0 on Sunday.
Unfortunately I was away so couldn’t attend.
The win leaves Bridgwater 4th in the National League - Southern Premier after seven matches.
Southampton and Ipswich are setting the pace winning all seven of their matches to date.
Argyle are 12th (third bottom) with one win and five defeats from their six matches.

The record crowd was probably TEN times that figure when the junior England international fixture was played about a dozen years ago. Iirc it was just over 5k, and was boosted by a concerted selling effort through Devon Schools.
