Half time 1-1. Tough game and a real cup final. Girls will probably learn more in this game than the whole season.

Lost 3-1 on pens. Hard fought game where we improved in the second half against an experienced side who look like they will be two leagues above next season if we don't get moved up. Lots of learning for the girls tonight who really kept going and learnt and adapted throughout the game.

TBF Rosey, The actual game ended in a draw, Penalties are down to luck in most ways but the women can hold their heads high after matching a team you say are looking to be two leagues above us, They'd learnt a lot and realise they can be a match for anyone on their day.

A hard end to a good season for the girls. Todays match showed why they need to step up a division and learn to deal with the mental and tactical side of the game against better sides. It is easy to do the basic side of the game and steamroller sides without to much thought process but tonight they had to work harder and think harder than they've had to all season. It was a big learning curve, they came through it and held their own. A bit more experience and a bit more nous to go with their ability and who knows what the outcome could have been. Even on tonight they could have nicked it, a better first touch from Chloe or Kelsey late on would have seen them clean through but thems the breaks. At the moment I have one very frustrated, more than disappointed, young lady upstairs. I think she realises after the event that there are things that she should have been doing that would have made a difference for her individually and ultimately for the team.

Goalie was superb! Some really great saves!
That save in injury time by Rhiannon was incredible as was the tip onto the post from a corner in the first half. Well deserved player of the match award. I thought Phoebe and Ellie also had really good games in midfield and defence respectively. All the girls put a shift in.

It was by far the toughest game of the season I have seen them play and it was really impressive to see them take on Sam's half time instructions and adjustments and improve so much in the second half in terms of organisation as a team. It's games like these that improve players and it would help to go up a division immensely. It was a real test physically and mentally that should stand them in good stead for next season.
