Is the rise to prominence of the women's game at the top end bad for a smaller club like Exeter City (men and women)?

There's only so much airtime and column inches you can devote to football in all it's guises and I'd argue where close to saturation point right now.
Thing with women's footall is there are so few teams compared to the men's game that can be professional, Only the WSL will interest any bidders and i don't think a deal would be big enough for any money to filter down to the lower leagues (At the moment)

Deals have already been done with USA and Canadian broadcasters (and maybe others) to show live matches. Putting UK rights behind a paywall might kill interest if it is done to soon.
There definitely needs to be free to air content to grow any product quickly.

The first team lost 2-1 to Swansea City earlier today, in a friendly.
From what I gather from Esme's Dad, City deserved at least a draw, played the better football and all this against a team who are Champions League football this year (albeit having qualified through the womens Welsh League).

I wondered when you'd bring this up. I saw it a couple of days ago.
