Decent set of results with the exception of Mansfield which keeps their auto hopes still alive.
Very late winner for them yet again

Nice little competition between the centre backs in who will score the most this season. Grounds, Stubbs and Diabate all on 2 goals now.

Well. If we hadn't won that MJ, OZ and to alesser extent Key would have been culpable for missing some golden chances.

Anyway.

We will need to do more than grind if we're going to prosper in League 1. We need a dependable strike force to match the quality in the rest of the team
I reckon there's money to spend to add to Nombe if we go up.

Far away across the field
Oz was spent 10 minutes before he was subbed.
Anyway a very decent 3 points against a team set up not to lose.
Stubbs magnificent yet again.
I spoke to a Stevenage supporter in the Spot before the game...
Tisdale...not happy, glad he's gone.
Fatty...might be awful football to watch, but might keep them up.
Jake Taylor...he's OK
Jamie Reid...waste of space
Chrysty...didn't rate him.
Anyway..3 points and on we go.

Agree entirely, three points are always welcome but 2-1 home wins over the likes of Stevenage and Crawley do not auger well for a successful time in league one. I’m sure we’re serious about promotion, I just hope we’re also serious about getting the kind of strike force necessary to stay there. Non league ‘strikers’ like Zangala and others we’ve invested in over the past couple of years just won’t hack it.

If you'd said at the start of the season that with nearly 40 games in we'd only lost 6 i'd never believed it, But its nearly 40 games and we have only lost 6 (So far) That to me is truely remarkable and says a lot about this team and manager. What ever the next 8 games bring, Well Frigging done lads. (y) (y)
