Some smaller positives today…

I thought Jules was pretty good, he’s a real consistent performer. Excellent

I really like Harper and he works his arse off but he’s missing a bit of quality with his end product right now. Needs must today but he’s much more comfortable on the left side.

Sinisalo is a fantastic shot stopper.

6,500 odd is really very good for a second game in a week vs one of the least interesting teams in the league

Whilst Dion Rankine can be frustrating around the penalty area, his ability to carry the ball over a long distance and quickly is a key thing in this team. The opposition hate that and his pace. It opens up the game for others who can thrive in the space such as Aitcheson and Trevitt. Having Niskanen behind him makes it even more difficult for the opposition. The same as Demi does on the left with Harper also having the potential to. Yan needs the ball much higher up the pitch to work.

So far this season, Zac Jules has covered that kind of, and I hesitate to say this, false LWB (!?) position, and done it well. It would be interesting to see a Demi/Yan or Harper combo down that side at some point.

From what I have seen of Wildschut we can strike the ball well,so it baffles me why he isn't placed more centrally. We aren't scoring ,but since Nombe left are answers to this haven't varied much.Either Scott or Cox and that's it apart from Aitchison in a false 9 sort of role against Reading where we actually scored 2 goals in a single match.
Someone should tell him he's not a wide player anymore. We've got an inexperienced kid getting thrown round like a rag doll playing down the middle and a 6ft2 lump pretending he's mark overmars.

Still think Judge Jules could do a job winning / holding ball up front for others to run on to

Felt really sorry for Sonny today and, to be honest, a bit embarrassed. Their No5 won't have an easier League 1 game this season winning every header and tackle, poor old Sonny had no answer at all. It summed it up for me in the second half when the boy went sprawling after a challenge. He's not yet strong enough and he doesn't get close enough to his marker to get a toe in like Stanno does even though they have similar builds.

I don't think he should play in League One until he's back from a desperately needed loan spell for fear his confidence could be shattered by the bullying he's getting. Scott should have come on for him much earlier.

Just felt so sorry for him.
Yeah I feel the same. He’s been thrown under the bus by bad planning and might well damage his confidence and ability to develop into a player who can do the business at a good level.

Everybody praying for the Admiral but what if he's *****?

We'll be stuck with him till end of the season with 'probably' no room in the budget for another player unless Chieck gets sold IMO...

Got a mate who's a Leicester fan and says that the Admiral is a nice guy and works hard but does seem to pick up niggles very easily..

(So let's start the petition to get Curo back 🙏)

Seriously though we need a goalscorer FAST!
