This feels like a very big game in the context of our season. We haven't won in a while and Colchester are on very good form. Win this and talk of finishing in the top 7 might feel a bit more realistic; another defeat and it will feel like we are drifting towards mid-table which, to be fair, is where many of us expected us to be at the start of the season.

Given effects of Covid on our club at start of season anything more than survival in L2 is a bonus. UTC

Doesn't mention us at all. Assuming they have blocked out what happened in the Summer...

I can see a bit of squad rotation tonight as it's gotten a bit stale. I predict a big Nige start!

It's a quiet evening, weatherwise. It's currently 11c with a gentle southerly breeze. There's been a trace of rain in the last 24 hours, It could be that the wind is about to turn south westerly which would increase the chance of rain during the course of the match. Floodlights are on and as the wind has recently removed the last of the silver burch leaves I can see two thirds of the pitch (but neither of the goals!)
