On the Echo podcast they quoted Karl Robinson as saying not only will they make eleven changes from Saturday's starting line-up
those players won't even travel, and isn't bothered about any fines.

May take that with a pinch of salt, we shall see.

does anyone care about this joke of a competition?

literally the only vaguely important thing outside of our league position is the FA Cup. They should make these other things optional.

The chance to make money by playing a big team is quite important. MU away in the 3rd round would be nice. Unlikely, but you never know.

You must have been Bjorn yesterday if you think that appeal will stop them.
Hope we will not meet our Waterloo. :$

3-0 City.

Yes it's important. A nice win and a home tie with say Newcastle or Leicester would be good.

because of the messing around with the names it is easy to confuse this (the League Cup) with the former Johnstones Paint Trophy.

I certainly enjoyed our League Cup game at Sunderland and in recent years we've had other Premiership sides at SJP. Are we going to win it? - no, but that goes for the FACup too.

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.

Never understood dismissing cup games. One winnable game at home away from West Ham or Newcastle away would net us probably two or three hundred thousand. We should play as strong a side as we can and try our hardest to win.

I think it will be one all after 90. Mcalinden for us. Not sure after that but will be positive and say a win on pens. 3570 including 250 from charlton.
