Derailing Northampton’s auto bid would be the icing on the cake for me.Win tonight and maybe that would be a possible given we’d be a relaxed team when we play them. Would prefer PV to take the other place.

Will we have over 7,000 tonight? Obviously there is only going to be about 40 Barrow Fans.

I'd sooner detail them both and let The Gas in. The Memorial Ground is sh!th0le but I'd sooner us be able to take a thousand up there and have a thousand back for the return than traipse all the way to whichever part of the Midlands.

Earlier than promised, due to the need to fortify myself ahead of the game. It's been a glorious afternoon, and the wind has gone round to SSE and almost (but not quite) disappeared. It's going to be sunny into the evening and should be a great evening for a game of football. Personally I haven't been as nervous since the away leg of the playoffs against Oxford (all those years ago) after which I failed to sleep for most of the night. I'm going for a City win, but do not underestimate the opposition, even with the distance that they have to travel. For completists my first away game watching City was at Barrow, even further back than Oxford seems.

Yep putting the kibosh on the Cobblers would certainly by popular amongst the Grecians faithful (particularly with Sexton Blake who no doubt would be ecstatic). As for other contenders, surely our ideal promotion quartet would be us, the Vegans, Brizzle and Swindledon. More local derbies, bigger crowds and less travelling makes a pretty compelling case for me ! Anyway let's finish the job tonight and then sit back comfortably and just see what else transpires. UTC !

Id be happy with that. More than keen for the Gas to come up with us, hopefully be in our hands to help them after tonight’s win

I am both nervous and confident - is that a legitimate pairing of emotions???
