Horrendous half. Out muscled and out played all over the pitch. Only Ray comes out with any credit.

One thing I've noticed is MJ is not captain material. The chips are down and he's quiet as a mouse, no communication whatsoever.

Luckily it's still 0-0.

Yes , too many 0-0 S will do for not just our promotion hopes but our gates as well..That’s assuming we can hold out for nil nil this game.Really , should it be like this if we mean to aspire to anything this season? We’re like a car you can never rely on that goes well one day and breaks down the next.Let’s hope we’re proved wrong and we come to life in the second half , can’t do any worse.
This was the problem last season that ulitmately cost us the chance of the play-offs; we either seemed to win comfortably or draw 0-0. If we can grind out a win after such a poor first half that would be a real boost but not feeling over-confident.

Need to wake up big time . Once again we struggle with big physical teams . Don’t think they are anything special but we need to start imposing ourselves here

Sutton remind me of Wycombe in the way they lump the ball up, are very physical & play for set pieces. Our performance today also reminds me of most performances against Wycombe, allowing ourselves to get bullied and playing right into their hands when we do get the ball. Need someone to put their foot on the ball relax and keep the ball.

If we really struggle with big physical teams which I agree we do , it doesn’t bode well again for this season. We will be found out ( excuse the pun) , big time. You’d think we would have learned that from last season.

Not looking good for the Wife beater, the Gas down 3-0 at home to the Orient. Mansfield also being held at home by Rochdale. Who will be first to be pushed?

No City penalty for push on Ray but a free kick for Sutton for pretty much the same foul thirty seconds later
