Randell Williams made a difference down the right. Glad Bowman got a goal, wasn't happy with his performance prior to his goal :)

Well done City.

2 years ago we lost our 9th game, so we've gone one better (so far).

Like the Carlisle game this will go down as a comfortable win but just as at Carlisle this didn't feel that way while watching. After 80 minutes of a stuttering performance it felt like we were going to drop more points at home and maybe have to admit we are not as good as our league position suggests we are. Instead, we were able to rest some senior players, blood some youngsters and still grind out the win.

Exactly. All those who've ignored his all-round contribution and focussed on his missed chances should be happy tonight. He struggled to get involved all night so that Ben Seymour had very little service but took his goal well.

Well done City again , but this is getting to be nerve racking stuff. Not ungrateful , but it would be nice to kill off a few games earlier on !

Team depth, stamina and just keep bashing away seems to be the rule for the last 15 mins. Prior to that unable to create many clear chances. Felt the same about Bowman as Hants thought he would have been subbed. 2-0 is a deserved decent ending.

A bold team selection with so many youngsters - four of the 11 are 20 or younger. Pleased it paid off.

We have played 8 of the bottom 11 teams so far in the league. Plenty to play for but got to be happy with that start.

If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
That's the way to get the heart pumping City ! Time and time again we could have scored but wait til the last 10 minutes to put the game to bed.
Thought for a while PV were gaining ground and gonna score especially when that big lump Pope came on and think their 15 was sailing close to getting sent off but end of the day walking out tonight with a big grin, great mates and 3 points it's all worth it.#
