To compete, really compete we need the following

20 goal striker
Midfield Dynamo
Two rock solid centre halfs
& a pacey winger.

Unfortunately I don't think we will get that next year and may have to make do with a few free transfers & maybe the odd journeyman.
Today we have let a side managed by Keith Curle beat us. Thats embarassing.
They'll be found out in League 1 just as we would have if we went up.

Mostly I'm happy enough with City which is why I've kept coming back season after season because it's in my DNA and because I always have hope. There are times, I must admit, when I wish I didn't have hope, that hope wasn't part of the deal and that city were just a middle of the league side with no pretensions of doing anything special. At least then I wouldn't have to suffer what I've suffered tonight. No expectation can make an easier life.
