If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
"Blood Sparkes"? Please dont try to get that awful term off of the ground in football? Cant we stick with 'give Sparkes a chance' or something similar?
Even you have to admit it been used not only in football but every other sport , recreational activity , workplace environment and life in general for years its hardly a new phrase to use when someone does something for the first time proper.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
But, for the ultimate anorak points, who scored Chester's consolation?
Graham Abel,in added time..

I can also remember the pub I went into..The Golden Lion, easy for me to remember because it was the same name as my pre match local for home games.

Don’t ask me about details from last season,I’ve forgotten already!!!

Just for the record, only one Exeter player was booked, which would have been Bowman.

There's an imaginary pint in for you at the "Virtual" next time you're passing.

Yes, it was a very good attendance. Pity we couldn't have turned it on to motivate the punters to return, but a win is a win and let's hope we can improve.

Couldn't help but notice MT having a little dig at A Martin and Parkes in post-match interview "not quite enough 1st contacts, certainly on the longer balls". Similar to what we heard last season before Martin was dropped.

Watch this space(!)

Is it 'refreshing' to hear this kind of honesty? Or is it a little self-defeating in the long run? I don't know. Managers are nornally more general in their critiicsim of their players. Surely as oppostion manager your ears must ***** up when you hear this kind of thing?

Could he not just say "it was nice to get a clean sheet but there are a few things to work on still" and leave it at that?

The swear filter has removed the word 'p***k' btw. The type you might get when a sharp needle is used to deflate a balloon.

Bleddy irritating that, and there are plenty of other examples. Some right old fashioned prude must have come up with the list of unacceptable words. This is the brave new enlightened world of the 21st century, not Victorian hypocrisy !

Please sort it out modisthorpes,
