Exeter City v Colchester Prediction Thread

Well, time to build some excitement I guess.

Not sure if we are home or away first, but here goes.

Exeter City 2 - 1 Colchester

It can work both ways. Our home form is good this season so if you can get to the home leg without being behind then it sets you up nicely, although without crowds I'm not sure if the home advantage has much credence.

Under Tisdale our away form was excellent and playing away in the second leg suited us. We'd often take a defeat in to the second leg away and lull the opposition into a false sense of security as with both the Oxford and Torquay play off games.

As much as I hope we can win the play offs and gain promotion, the celebrations will be muted for me. Coronavirus has completely ruined an otherwise thoroughly enjoyable and successful season. I just can't get all that excited for it now.

Fingers crossed we start next season in L1. I feel like we deserve it and was still confident of going up automatically prior to the virus kicking in.
