And not forgetting DW's two goal line clearances in the first half.

Or Ampadu being booked while warming up for kickkng the ball away.

All in all, a grand day out!
Was an important game...I think we’d have finished the day in the drop zone had we lost.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Dec 15th 1973.New signings Peter Hatch & Keith Bowker made their debuts at Borough Park Workington.
Both good players for the Grecians for many seasons.

The Grecians lost 3-1 infront of only 693 spectators. The lowest involving the Grecians for a Football League fixture

Peter Hatch was an outstanding signing. From Oxford for £8,000, I think.

Yes.The fee sounds about right.Bowker was around £7,000..A fair wedge(£15k)for Exeter to outlay in those days.Certainly worth every penny for the pair of them.
Keith Bowker was sold to Cambridge iirc at the end of 75/76 but returned a season later.
Peter Hatch played 10 seasons for the Grecians & does not look any different these days !!!

Peter hatch was a quality footballer who in my humble opinion could have played at a higher level, his first touch when receiving a ball was impeccable .

Perhaps it's an endorsement of the cornflakes diet.
