On this day in 2003 we beat Chester 2-1. This was our first home victory in the Conference and Chester finished the season as champions. Plenty of water under the bridge for both clubs since then!

Remember it well also remember getting so carried away with that result on the opening day of the season only to come hurtling back down to earth with a bang the following Saturday with a 3:0 defeat at Blackpool

On this day: In 2000, Christian Roberts got his first City goal in a 1-1 draw with Hartlepool United at St James Park. Loved watching him his pace was electric.
