Worth every penny. I paid £16 a few years ago. It will only go up in price.

Had mine for 30 years now 😬 I really wish club could somehow bring out an updated version for the last 30 years to bring things up to date a bit....it’s just not the same looking at this type of thing on line.

Sadly Breedon Books, the publishers of the Complete History series, went to the wall more than a decade ago. So any update from that main source is out of the question. :(

I think their remaining stocks were sold off by a company up Tiverton way, 20 odd years ago.

The thing with a complete history is it never is 'complete' for long.
This is one reason why Grecian Archive have gone down the website route.
However for those who like something tangible, could there be any milage in a series?
Maybe in a paperback or 90 -100 page match programme format - each book spanning a certain period of time and being added to periodically.
There could be a back section in each new book for newly discovered history missed from earlier editions.

Agree and one for players too. Update every decade or 2.

Also, I’d like to see a yearly annual, targeted for adults as well as younger folk (so not like a Match comic). It could show the season stats, player stats, league table, cup runs, brief game reports and plenty of photos. Also club and trust news from that season. They could launch it in the summer so it contains the fixtures for the next season. Make an ideal birthday or Christmas present for any supporter. The whole season in one book.

As I recall. my complete record was given to me as a Christmas present, having been purchased at a book signing at Waterstones in the High Street, and has been signed by Terry Cooper, Paul Eshelby, Richard Young, Richard Dryden, Kevin Miller, and Ben Rowe.
