Surely that's all he talked about? Other than that, in the lst 13 odd years in management he's been tosh. Can't live on B2B promotions for ever, not like he did the double in the prem or anything.

That makes two of us.
If you could tell Paul Tisdale this, the problem would be solved 👍

An interesting read but sorry Tis the people that feel two back to back defeats the most are the fans. You were here for twelve years, we're here for life (unless you're Legohead😝). You will, and have, moved on but we have to live with it.

Well, he's kind of moved on and kind of not. I guess to be fair it was a considerable chunk of his life, his first professional managerial job, and the scene of his successes. You can take the.msn out of City but you can't take City out of the man.

Looks like he's trying to get his name back in the frame for potential jobs.

As well as this article, there's 2 X one hour interview on the EFL podcast website which are interesting to hear.

The second interview provides more information, from Tisdale's perspective of his latter stages with City. He goes in to some detail about the contract negotiations, and I'd be interested to hear Julian Tagg and Nick Hawker's views, in order to get a element of balance. Tisdale's views about how we would have coped, if we had beaten Blackpool in the play-off final surprised me. He thought that team was the best he had, through his whole time at City and would have done very well in League One!!
Perhaps a way of claiming Matt Taylor”s success at challenging for the auto places is down to the team he built?

Anyway, what was the “Nothing” that he had to rebuild from?

A club no longer in debt, consistently challenging for the play-offs back to League 2, some superb young players coming through, competent signings, consistentply one of the best supported non-league clubs...

Dolan was the one who rebuild from nothing and got within a gnat’s whats-it of a ply-off place whilst still having to battle the debt that the eventual Man Utd money would cancel out.

Just pleased he doesn't hack on about turning down Swansea. Think our youth development had more to do with Dolan, the transfer embargo and Alex Inglethorpe than Ti's.
