England have beaten Italy 2-1, coming from behind, today to reach the final of this tournament. They will face Israel who beat France in the other semi. England beat Israel 1-0 in their final group game which was a dead rubber as both had already qualified.
From what I have seen so far they have been really well organised with Carney Chukwuemeka of Villa probably the best known player and looking the part. You can see why Gerrard is giving him his chance. Jarell Quansah and Callum Doyle have been impressive at the back (Liverpool and Man City respectively) as has Brentford goalkeeper Matthew Cox.
The final is on Friday and with Wimbledon on, probably hidden away on the iPlayer again like today.
