Good opening game, thought the Romanians did well and will feel unlucky but a great strike from payet to win it. Won't be a bad tournament if most games are like that.

Reckon you could be right there Creds, with possibly Walker starting instead of Clyne? Vardy to make an appearance with about 20 to go hopefully just to finish things off.

Nothing like the cheesefest i expected of an opening ceremony

Great goal to win it but I think the french were suffering from opening night nerves, was glad the ref eventually punished Evra for the pen, he got away with a few earlier in the game

Kicked in the balls more like. If you have a team under the cosh like they did and don't put them away you deserve everything you get.
Will England flatter to deceive yet again , good at qualifying for tournaments , failures when they get there.
