Yes Indo. I think we have taken that on board.

:)
I'd add a smiley but the emoticons are not active.

Archer is talking tough against the Aussies: hope he can follow it up.
Apparently Leach is our big hope for getting Smith out.

Disappointed to hear that Denley might retain his place.

More disappointing is the weather. Given also the forecast for Friday and Saturday this has draw written all over it.

That's right. 70% chance of rain after lunch. Rain just stopped now. We need Derek Underwood.

Given our dire record at Lord’s maybe a draw is not a bad outcome with wins targeted oop North.

Entirely possible the game could still be won/lost in 3 days. Can't see there being any play today, even with Lords' impressive drainage and covering (Oval take note...) but tomorrow looks fine, Saturday improving and Sunday fine.

Given a shortened game, is it too much of a gamble not to play Leach? I would play him in every case. It should be Curran not Denly, but I can see them going with Curran not Leach.

They need to play a front line spinner, part of the reason Leach is in there is Smith is seen to be vulnerable to left arm spin.
