End of Season Ball

I have to say last night's end of season ball was absolutely brilliant (from what I remember of it). Well done to the club for getting this set up. All the first team were there and I'm sure they spoke to everyone. The drinks were definitely flowing and, for many, today would have been a struggle.

Julian Tagg, however, couldn't present a cat. His speech was quite dull.

If you haven't attended one of these before, I thoroughly recommend it for next season.

Indeed, although I've heard he is to star in the next series of "Sons of Anarchy"! :D

Taggy did mention exeweb in his speech. Said he read it when he felt depressed and wanted to be cheered up!! He also gave Richard Dorman a scooter and rode it round the tent. Not sure how that could be classified as dull, bloody stupid was more apt!

Plus Tis made a joke about signing the petition so I think most things on here was covered!

The players were excellent though and made an effort to get around all the tables

I dont class Taggs mirth at reading exeweb for a laugh as funny, nor do I think Tisdale talking about signing the petition as in very good taste. I do however take great heart that Tagg reads exeweb (as if he wouldnt) and that Tisdale can only have found out about the petition by following exeweb. I trust all you lot that are paying their salaries can see the funny side, particularly as you dont know what Tagg actually does!

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
Was this a genuine "funny" joke or a "I don't care what anyone else thinks" joke? genuine question for anyone who was there, although I guess the answer would depend on your opinion of the manager.

Agree with OG
An absolutely brilliant night.
I sat and talked to David Noble for quite some time, I admit I didn't like the guy first time here, but he's won me over!
Scotty Bennett and JMT where true gentlemen, as was Aaron Davies, had all the time in the world for me. I could have sat talking to all of them, all night.
And Clinton Morrison is an absolute star! first a collection and then took over the casino!
A truly magical night
Thank you ECFC
