but it is the usual rubbish nonsense from the EFL..they just recycle other people's cash...

small payments for EFL clubs playing youngsters in the first team (often players on loan!)...

funded by a tax/levy on the transfer fees including young English players developed and sold on. So whatever we get will be paying us back for the 17.5k we had to chip in from the Grimes transfer. And presumably we'll have to pay out again if Watkins is sold.

Recycling other people's money is only great for EFL publicity...

So if you develop and sell young players, you get something for playing them funded by a slice of the subsequent transfer fee. As much a disincentive as incentive
