Appreciate a lot of people don't like this competition or the efl pushing the b team idea, however I hope this picks up a half decent crowd.
Having lost 54k in prize money from the FA cup exit we have a chance to make I believe 40k from winning this. Also we will have over three weeks without a home league game so a chance for city fans to see a game without the inconvenience of it being on a cold wet winters night. Cheap admission too and hopefully will encourage at least a few extra Ipswich fans to travel.
Would like to think we could get 2000. I am thinking of the chance to support some of the young players who might get a run out, but also would expect Matt to field a decent strength team. Could be useful for Ajose if he isn't 100% by then and maybe Lee Holmes. If we won we are then fairly deep into the competition. Having seen us nearly reach the final a couple of times I would love to see us make it. We aren't likely to win things normally so let's give it our best shot.

Only the IP Stand is open for this game.
