Always sounded a decent player but only five games for Gillingham last season - injured or out of favour?

Given your recent record on signings I'm taking this one very seriously...!

Where’d you get 5 from? Says he played 38 games last season

Ah - cheers. Soccerbase isn't working well on my browser so I trusted to Wikipedia. Now looked and it said his appearances in 17/18 were last updated in September 2017!

I got 5 too for 17/18, but a lot more in 16/17.

Wagstaff and Matty T were at Charlton together so this one seems very realistic

Apparently been a little injury prone at times whilst at Gillingham but looks a high quality player from what I have seen for this level. If this comes off I wonder how much MT insisting on a Strength and Conditioning has helped as for a player who has had some issues with injuries I can see it being a big selling point for signing for us. :)

If Wagstaff does come in is anybody else beginning to get a bit excited about the coming season?? Arguably I think the 1st team is already stronger than last year even with the players that have already left in my opinion...

Wagstaff I remember being excellent. Would be a very good signing, he's quick, skillful and would create a lot of chances for Stockley.

I've seen Wagstaff play for Bristol City, in League One and the Championship. Always gave 100%, scored some absolute screamers and a cracking goal celebration too (the flop to the floor). He'll be a favourite on the terraces before the end of August.

If he signs, I'll start to get even more excited than I already am.
