Fair chunk drawn out to repay emergency loans put it by the directors and others.

Pretty tough to survive on home gates of 500

Backing Gary Caldwell, thanks Matt and good luck.
heard on talk sport that their 60 year old manager is going to name himself on the bench at the weekend because they were short of players. sounded like a pr stunt, would have thought they could find a youngster or a promising local league player who would be glad of an opportunity even if they weren't being paid.

maybe not easy to survive on 500 home gates but would imagine not too many clubs at that level get four figure gates.

Together We Are Stronger.
Former City goal machine Ben Watson is at Dorchester, they gave him a two year contract three months ago...

Comments made about "professional" players? Surely they dont have anybody full time, although comment above about Watson may suggest otherwise

They'd planned their finances with another FA Cup run in mind. However, they were dumped out of the cup on Saturday at home to Shortwood United. 279 in attendance.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Weymouth's demise must have hurt them. That was a decent crowd once a season.I seem to recall Eddie Mitchell(of Bournemouth fame,running/owning the club about 5 years ago)

If you have the biggest bunch of scheisters this side of the English Channel as your landlords, then you must expect to be down trodden, and struggle while they swan around the world smiling sweetly with plums in their mouths.

I assume the Duchy of Cornwall own the ground...They seem to own quite a lot of Dorchester

... and they have a well oiled PR machine to cover up the greed and feudal misery created by the nestletripes of the aristocracy that run it. It needs to be well oiled, believe me...
