6 points each off Barnet and the Daggers too. 4 points off Rochdale. Beat Bradford. That sort of thing?
that was my leaning ;)

We certainly didn't lose 5 in a row in that league <guffaw>

Just when was the last time we lost 5 in a row? not for at least 6 seasons.

I really put the effort in to educate these east-devon types.

It is really very hard work. I get very little credit.

However, I will continue in the hope that one day I might see a spark of intelligence.

I know you can do it excretians. I believe in you. So, lets start again.

step 1. Look at the teams.

step 2. Look at the table.

step 3. Look at the fixtures played.

step 4. Apply some common scense, logic or indeed intelligence.

step 5. Now do you see the reality of the situation

step 6. If the answer to step 5 is 'No'. Return to step 1.

You started on a level playing field surely?

So there you go mummy's little fella; you've played one top team & 1 team that have picked up recently; the remainder have now since gone above you due to the FACT you haven't won or drawn a game in the last 5 <sneer>

Typical Knumbnutonion response.

We have played:

Grimsby, Rochdale, Bournemuff, Bradford, Barnet, Daggers, Chelts, Burton, Chesterfield

Grimsby are the only bottom half side we've played, and we've beaten 3 of the sides who are closer to play-off, and like I said before have lost to many of the early pace setters

Try to do a similar analysis of results so far my excretian friend, or are you too scared ?
Please study the "Long Old Poke back from Leeds...." thread where I have been keeping a tally of Torquay's results this term and comparing them with our results against the same teams last season.

At present we're five, YES FIVE! points ahead of you, but of course there's still a long time to go.

As for comparing our performances this season, well we're a league above and 31 places ahead of you so any kind of comparison would be entirely fatuous. Don't you think?

BTI I believe I have proved your OP for what it is; your usual drivel; you've met 1 top team so far!! so how the f*ck have you managed to lose 5 in a row <guffaw>

your excuse next week will be? No wait another 2 or 3 weeks and you can tell us they were one of the mighty teams you've played in the top half <titter>

The fact still remains.

We've now played many of the stronger teams.

Excretia have not yet played many of the stronger teams.

Is my point becoming any clearer to you oh exciled one ?
