In your case, I thought I'd need to repeat it

Jack Leach will call his autobiography "10-166 and All That".

Case of getting used to it I'm afraid for you Ali. Bairstow and Jamie Overton leading the charge now at 216-6 putting on 161 at almost a run a ball.

It was always likely to be the case of positive cricket under Stokes and McCullum. It will be exciting but we will be 70 all out at times. But then again we were when we batted like tortoises.

Edit. As Chimes says above, it sounded like Boult in particular was on fire with the new ball in favourable conditions. World class operator.
I am all in favour of what works Rosey. This “new approach” needs to be evaluated after a lot more evidence is gathered mind.

I see Michael Vaughan is suggesting Jos Buttler to open in the Test side.

I expect there will be times when they dig in but this "No Fear Cricket - Test Edition" is going to be the mantra under this management. It won't always work but we have just won three tests where we have been up against it at times in all three tests and very tight on first innings. It won't always come off but if it does more often than not, that will be the proof in the pudding. I am not sure we had any other way out of 54-6 with the players we had. Strap yourself in lad 🙂

Michael Vaughan has a lot of suggestions, one might work at some point. I can't see Jos back in the Test side now he is going to be White Ball Captain. Very big shoes to fill replacing Eoin who will go down as one of the great Captains.
